Blogtoberfest Day 13: Sometimes you feel like a nut..

Today I dyed up some roving using extra food dye we had lying around the house. I have been wanting to make some felted acorns for quite a while but didn't have time to dye up the roving so it had to wait. I found some time tonight and dyed the roving green. It came out a little brighter than I had wanted it to but thats okay at least it wasn't a costly project ; ) I was going for an olive green and ended up with more of a lime kind of color. Oh well I am sure they will be cute anyhow...acorns anyone?
